Building the Robotic Stack for Fully Autonomous Biomanufacturing

About This Talk

Discover how Multiply Labs builds robotic systems for autonomous biomanufacturing. Co-Founder & CEO Fred Parietti covers the software and hardware stack needed to automate complex cell therapy and pharmaceutical workflows with reliability. Presented at Actuate, Foxglove's annual robotics developer conference.

Speaker

Fred Parietti, Co-Founder & CEO, Multiply Labs

Fred Parietti is the co-founder and CEO of Multiply Labs. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where he worked on supernumerary robotic limbs — wearable robotic arms that give humans additional limbs to enhance strength and capability. Fred brought that robotics expertise into the pharma world, building the robotic infrastructure for biomanufacturing at Multiply Labs. The company deploys end-to-end robotic systems that automate the production of biologics using the GMP instruments manufacturers already trust, and has signed cell therapy manufacturing contracts with AstraZeneca and Legend Biotech — on a mission to make the most advanced biological therapies widely accessible to patients through robotics.
