Pete Florence is the co-founder and CEO of Generalist. Before that, he was a Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind. Before Google, he did his PhD in Computer Science at MIT with Russ Tedrake. His research work has focused on robotics and AI, particularly in areas such as robotic manipulation, computer vision, and natural language.
