Tom Sanocki, VP of Engineering, 1X Technologies

Tom Sanocki is VP Engineering at 1X Technologies. Throughout his career Tom has led software teams that reached millions of people across consumer, entertainment, and developer platforms. He was the first engineering director for avatars at Roblox, founded a VR startup acquired by Lytro, and ran four engineering teams at Meta AR/VR. Early in his career he built technology & characters on Bungie's Destiny 1 video game and foundational Pixar films such as Finding Nemo, Cars, Brave, and Up. He has spoken extensively at SIGGRAPH and other conferences, holds 5 patents, and graduated with a Computer Science Engineering degree from Princeton University.
