Sanja Fidler, VP of AI Research, University of Toronto
Dr. Sanja Fidler is Vice President of AI Research at NVIDIA and leads the Spatial Intelligence Lab in Toronto, driving innovation in computer vision, 3D deep learning, and physical AI since 2018. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and a co-founder and affiliated faculty member of the Vector Institute, holding the Canada CIFAR AI Chair. After earning her B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana (2002 and 2010), she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto and was a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (2011–2013).
